BC Ministry of Transport website details current weather conditions, construction and other hazards in reports for specific routes or regions in BC and in other parts of Canada and the US.  Also includes a distance calculator, highway webcams, wait times at border crossings, and ferry information.

Environment Canada has detailed weather forecasts for major Canadian and world cities. In addition, this site includes Canadian marine forecasts, aviation weather, and historical weather data by location.

This site provides information about tides including current and future predictions (7 days to 1 year) and historical trends (1 year). The tide level information is searchable by region/location.

Search for short term (2 day), long term (6 day), and 14 day trend weather forecasts for hundreds of Canadian towns and cities including Burnaby. Coverage of American and International weather is included as well.

The World Meteorological Organization collects worldwide weather forecasts provided by National Meteorological and Hydrological Services. The site is available in seven languages.

Historical climate normals

Environmental information portal that contains searchable research data, maps, and country profiles on different topics.  These include climate and atmosphere, forests and grasslands, marine, coastal, and freshwater ecosystems, population and health, business, energy, agriculture and food, and more.

Environment Canada's online archive of historical weather data.  The Canadian Climate Normals contain averages and extremes for nearly 1,500 locations across Canada, as far back as 1961.  Data can be downloaded or customized charts created.

Together with the National Climatic Data Center in the US, this United Nations agency provides access to a vast amount of statistical information about the world and its regions, including climate normals and extremes for the atmosphere, oceans, and much more.
