BurnabyMap is a web-based mapping website that provides access to the City’s geographic information systems (GIS). There are over thirty map layers (themes) of data that can be viewed, including property address and assessment data, parks and recreation facilities, waterways, major trail systems and cycle routes, roads, HOV lanes, transit systems, schools, public libraries and other public places including fire halls, shopping complexes and policing services, road maps, engineering data such as sewer and water mains, and high-resolution aerial photographs.
Detailed land-use maps and their associated community plans for all Burnaby development zones are also available online.

Burnaby history
The Burnaby Archives houses civic and private records documenting the history of the City of Burnaby.
Charting Change: An Interactive Atlas of Burnaby's Heritageis made up of four interactive, chronological maps that are plotted with landmarks, historic buildings and neighbourhoods and linked to historic photographs, artifacts and neighbourhood histories.
The Heritage Burnaby site is a project initiated by the City of Burnaby's Community Heritage Commission with the Heritage Program of the Planning and Building Department; the City Archives of the Clerk's Department, Burnaby Village Museum and the Burnaby Public Library. Online resources include a searchable database of historical photographs, artifacts, textual records and heritage landmarks. The textual records collection includes Burnaby Council Minutes from 1980 -1996.

Burnaby Community Connections helps people community resources
and services. It publishes the Community Resource Guide which is a
directory of Burnaby services including resources on low-cost food,
housing, education and other services for families,seniors and youth.
It also also publishes Ready, Set, Learn, Middle Childhood Matters and
the Seniors' Health Guide and organizes the Christmas Bureau.
Burnaby Family Life is a non-profit society delivering more than 100 workshops, conferences, education, counseling and family support programs each year.
Burnaby Food First is a group of community members and local agencies working together to bring food security to Burnaby. They host food workshops open to the public.
The Heights Merchants Association is a Business Improvement Area (BIA) comprising of North Burnaby businesses. The site includes information on the North Burnaby area.
