How do I find or change my PIN?

Your personal identification number (PIN) is set by default to be the last four digits of your home phone number, or whatever phone number you gave when you obtained your library card. If you cannot remember your PIN, you can ask library staff at your branch to look it up, or phone 604-436-5430. You will be required to provide personal information to verify your identity.

The library recommends that you change your PIN from time to time to protect your privacy.

If you know your PIN and want to change it:

  • Go to My BPL login
  • Log in with your BPL barcode and PIN
  • Select "Account Settings" from the top right
  • Fill out the online "Change PIN" form and change your PIN
