Get into character this summer by filming a short video book trailer. Anyoned aged 13 - 19 is invited to create a video of 3 minutes of less to promote their favourite book. Prizes will be awarded and winning videos will be featured on the Burnaby Puclib Library website.

The first place video from the Burnaby Public Library will be entered in the "Battle of the Best Book Trailer" and go head to head with the top video book trailers from other libraries in the lower mainland to win a grand prize valued at $200.

Guidelines:

The trailer must be 3 minutes of less
Post it to YouTube and tag the video "TVCbpl2010"
Put "Burnaby Public Library Teen Video Contest" and your first name in the YouTube Video Description
Fill out an entry form at any BPL branch after your video is posted, or e-mail the information to teens@bpl.bc.ca.
Contest runs from July 1 through August 15
